You might be wondering 'what is this?', well this is my newsletter that I have decided to put out. It's one thing to have a company and have AMAZING products (i'm a little partial!), but i believe that it's important to connect with your customers! Since I've opened the doors to Les Produits Genevieve, I have been blessed with a clientele base almost from the start. It's always great to have repeat customers, but it is also necessary to spread my wings, and get out there. This past Saturday I took part in my very first artisan fair. With a good friend by my side I got all my products ready, and spent hours coming up with the perfect display. Finally I was done and Saturday was here! All in all it was a great experience. Although sales were slow for the whole market (I say that to make myself feel better lol!), I still sold, and to strangers!!! I mean, I have sold items going to people I don't know, but they were all purchased by friends or acquaintances. This was my first time really putting my products out there, and setting myself up for some real criticism! I have a charity event next month called: Beyond The Streets/Mission De La Rue Fundraiser for Dans La Rue. I'm really excited for this one! But more on that later!
